So after what felt like a decade of grad school, I FINALLY graduated and have an amazing job.
I'm now a speech therapist at SECEP, an organization that works with children in various school systems that need additional support. I'll be working in 3 schools giving therapy to autistic kids across the spectrum and hopefully providing them with ways to communicate (verbally, through gestures, AAC devices) in ways they couldn't before. I'm so excited that I found this place, and it's neat to know I'll be making a (positive) difference. Yay!
